Terri (Mother of the Bride)

We cannot begin to say enough great things about Bob Garvey and the Garvey Family Barn and property. It’s been 2 days since our daughter’s wedding and we are still basking in the glow of having selected the most beautiful setting for an autumn wedding in northern Michigan! The trees were at their peak and the flowers surrounding the barn were colorful and set the stage for many photo opportunities. Bob Garvey is extremely easy to work with – returning calls and e-mails promptly and answering all questions. His list of local vendors is very helpful. We used many of them and they were all laid back and casual and yet professional and helpful. It was obvious they are all very familiar with the venue and completely confident in their ability to provide the best services. Everything came together without a hitch. The barn and property are in pristine condition and the horses, roosters and newly added miniature donkeys, Fred and Ethel, are a delight! All of our guests, many of whom have never been to Michigan, raved about the beautiful venue and our daughter and son-in-law could not have had a more wonderful day! It was Pure Michigan perfection!
